As the year slowly draws to a close, we’re busy preparing for the coming year and reflecting on 2021. It’s been a good year for E-Sign. Our team has performed exceptionally well under difficult circumstances; covid restrictions, lockdowns… the external environment has certainly made for a mixed bag of a year! However, challenges haven’t stopped us from continuing to develop the platform and the brand. We’ve been ensuring our key product offerings keep improving, enabling customers to get the most out of our platform.
To celebrate the end of the year, we’re sharing some of our most exciting developments to come out of 2021:
Upgrading our core operating system
Here at E-Sign, our talented tech team are always looking to improve how E-Sign operates. One of the biggest changes to come from this year were the upgrades made to our core operating system. These changes have made the E-Sign platform the fastest and most responsive yet- and make it one of, if not the, fastest e-Signature platforms out there. Definitely one of 2021’s most successful and exciting projects.
Introducing the Salesforce App Integration
We understand that businesses use a variety of software and applications to get the job done. That’s why we want our platform to be able to integrate with as many business applications as possible. In 2021, we added to this range, developing and launching the E-Sign Salesforce integration, allowing users to leverage E-Sign’s capabilities from their business CRM.
Adding the Carbon Calculator to the Platform
The E-Sign platform helps businesses go digital and reduce, if not entirely eliminate, paper consumption. This not only saves businesses time and money but can also help to save on carbon emissions. We wanted businesses to know just how much carbon dioxide they were saving by using E-Sign. That’s why we decided to develop and add a carbon calculator to our dashboard in 2021.
Launching our New Developer Environment
For many larger businesses or organisations, customisation is the key to creating a bespoke workflow. That’s why we created a brand-new environment for developers, including a range of SDKs, to make personalising E-Sign easier, as well as providing inspiration to get the most out of our platform. Using our demo site, we can even give developers a preview of their new working environment.
Gaining our PSN Certification
In 2021, we gained our PSN certification. This means that E-Sign ticked all the boxes for security and compliance and can be used on the Public Service Network. The PSN is used across the public sector to share resources and improve collaboration. Given the highly sensitive nature of public sector data, all tech suppliers must meet the highest security requirements before they can be used by public sector organisations. E-Sign is now the only PSN certified e-signature on the market!
Working with the Public Sector and NHS
Having achieved our PSN certification early on in 2021, E-Sign was able to start supplying Government bodies and NHS Trusts with our digital solutions and electronic signatures. We’re proud that E-Sign is able to support the public sector on its digital journey, as well as help them to achieve a paperless target by 2024. With MD, Thomas Tayler, qualified as a Digital Outcomes Specialist, we hope we can continue providing our digital toolbox to the Public Sector in 2022 and beyond.
Expanding the E-Sign Team
At a time when many businesses have been scaling back new hires, we’re proud to say that we were able to expand our team in 2021. We’re always looking to develop and improve the E-Sign platform, so expanding our tech team was an absolute must. We also hired in our account management and on-boarding team, expanding our client focussed resource. It’s nice to see how our new hires have grown into their roles over the course of the year.
Exhibiting at CyberIsle and Digital Isle of Man
As we have an office both in the Isle of Man and Liverpool, we’re keen to get the E-Sign brand established in these communities. Our Head of Brand and Communications, Katie, has been hard a work getting the E-Sign name out there, arranging for E-Sign to exhibit at CyberIsle, a cybersecurity conference on the Isle of Man. MD, Thomas Taylor was also invited to sit on a discussion panel at Digital Isle.
Joining Professional Liverpool and the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce
On the Liverpool side, E-Sign has also joined the Professional Liverpool and the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce. Being part of the Chamber of Commerce opened up opportunities for E-Sign in the city, enabling us to take part in the #Wellconnected networking event, where our Head of Digital Transformation, Luke Garrettwas invited as guest speaker.
Presenting to Code Nation
As a tech company, we’re always keen to support developing talent and coders. That’s why we wanted to get involved with Code Nation, an organisation that aims to bridge the skills gap when it comes to coding and tech. Thomas and Alex gave a presentation about how E-Sign was founded, as well as sharing their personal experience of working as developers and creating market-leading software.
So that’s our 10 most exciting achievements of 2021! We want to thank our amazing team for helping to make 2021 a great year. We’re definitely excited to see how E-Sign continues to grow in 2022.
